OSCAR

We started to follow MP on Facebook after a friend adopted a dog. I quickly became a huge fan seeing the work they do and really wanted to help and be involved in any way we could. When I found out MP provided holiday care I thought it was a brilliant solution for our dog Oscar. He doesn’t like boarding very much and is really an inside dog who is used to lots of walk and lots of attention! I contacted MP and very quickly they connected us with a wonderful dog loving family who lived only 5 minutes away from us. The money goes straight to MP so its a complete win for everyone. Oscar has ‘had a holiday’ a couple of times now with the same family and he loves it there. We know he is being very well cared for and we can enjoy out holiday knowing he is in safe hands. It is a completely different feeling to leaving your dog in a kennel somewhere and I cant recommend MP highly enough for holiday care. Thank you MP and your wonderful carers Ros and Danny.

I can’t even begin to say how grateful I am for Moving Paws Holiday Care. My husband and I were heading overseas for 2 weeks and heard through a friend about Moving Paws. I filled out the form on their website, and within 24 hours I had been contacted to find out a few details about Millie, and very soon after that it was all settled. I was emailed the details of the carers, and I took up contact with them to arrange a meeting between their dog and our Millie. Millie hit it off with Casper right away (although I am not sure who wouldn’t become friends with Casper. He has an amazing temperament, is extremely nurturing, caring and patient). So it was all set. The carers were incredible and offered to come pick Millie up because they were aware she suffered some separation anxiety and was a rescue with a few abandonment sensitivities. And they immediately made her feel so comfortable. I left the country feeling a bit more at ease leaving my dog behind. We were sent photos and emails to show Millie was doing well… and not only was she doing well but I think she was having a better time then we had. She had many trips to the beach and the dog parks and had so much fun playing with Casper all day. Casper really helped Millie grow in confidence in just 2 short weeks, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the level of care and love provided. My emails were always responded to straight away. I will absolutely go thru Moving Paws again next time we go away.

The girls seemed to have the most wonderful time with their carers whilst we were away. It was so much more relaxing heading away knowing they were in such safe, loving and capable hands.
When we picked the girls up they were happy to see us, but I think they were sad to leave too haha!!

RUBI

In February 2.18 we went on a 2 week holiday to NZ and Los Angeles. This was made possible only because of the MP holiday care program. Our MP carer also looked after Rubi for a week last year when we went to Brisbane to visit our son and new twin grand-daughters. We didn’t know when we booked the first visit but our carer himself has 3 members of Rubi’s fur family. Rubi’s stay went very well and we were kept in contact while we were away sending us sms messages and pictures of Rubi. She felt so comfortable there I don’t think she wanted to come home. She even took over one of the dogs beds as her own.

Apart from the excellent care she received we were also given a discount as we adopted Rubi from Moving Paws.
